Professional marine firefighter helmet — EN 443:2008 certified

The PAB Fire Compact is a professional-grade marine firefighter helmet designed for shipboard fire fighting and emergency response. Certified to EN 443:2008, MED/SOLAS and EC approved, it is suitable for commercial vessels, fishing fleets, ferries, and offshore platforms requiring SOLAS-compliant firefighting equipment.

Lightweight thermoplastic construction combined with a high degree of protection makes this one of the most practical helmets in service. The same helmet is used in firefighter outfit sets supplied by Viking and Survitec.

Eye protection — visor

The PAB Fire Compact provides excellent eye protection:

✓ Integrated flip-down external visor — anti-scratch and anti-fog coated polycarbonate, certified to EN 14458:2004. Provides a wide field of vision in smoke and low-visibility conditions.

The visor is impact-resistant and flame-retardant, ensuring protection is maintained under extreme conditions.

Temperature and flame performance

✓ Extreme temperature resistance up to 1,000°C in a ten-second flashover

✓ Shell: flame-retardant polyamide — resists direct flame contact
