Built for shipboard firefighting

Our professional-grade marine firefighter suit is built for shipboard firefighting in compliance with SOLAS regulations. Certified to EN469:2020 and approved under SOLAS, MED, EC, CE, and RS (Russian Maritime Register of Shipping), it meets the requirements for commercial fishing vessels, cargo ships, ferries, offshore platforms, and all vessels required to carry firefighting equipment.

The ZFMH-FZ with backpack includes a carry bag for storage and transport of the complete uniform set.

 

ProBuddy Compact helmet — European manufactured

The helmet supplied with this set is the ProBuddy Compact type, manufactured in Europe — the same helmet used by Viking and Survitec in their firefighter outfit sets. Features include:

✓  Aluminised neck curtain — heat-reflective protection for the neck and lower face

✓  Quick-release chin strap

Four-layer aramid fibre suit construction

Jacket and trousers are constructed from four layers of specialised materials:

1. Outer layer — fireproof aramid fibre. Chars rather than melts or ignites under direct flame exposure
2. Waterproof and breathable layer — moisture barrier that resists water ingress while allowing heat vapour to escape
3. Heat insulation layer — thermal barrier reducing heat transfer to the wearer
4. Comfort inner layer — aramid viscose flame retardant fabric for wearability during extended operations

 

Suit design features

✓  Stand-up collar with front overlap and touch-close fastening

✓  Cuff with thumb hole — seals against heat and water ingress at the wrist

✓  Flame retardant and abrasion resistant reinforcement on knees and elbows

✓  Reflective strips on jacket and trousers — visibility in smoke and low-light conditions

✓  Radio and flashlight pocket on jacket

✓  Additional pockets on jacket and trousers
