The HAF 6 person coastal ISO liferaft is MNZ approved and ISO 9650-1 certified — built for inshore and coastal boating, sailing, and fishing around New Zealand. Comes with an under 24hr emergency pack, available in fibreglass canister or valise bag, ex-stock Auckland. Commercial fishing vessels and charter boats require a SOLAS B liferaft — see our SOLAS B range.
Built for inshore and coastal boating around New Zealand — sailing, fishing, and day cruising. MNZ approved and manufactured to ISO 9650-1 standard. Comes with an under 24hr emergency pack, equipped for scenarios where rescue is expected within 24 hours of entering the raft.
Available in fibreglass canister or soft valise bag at the same price. Ex-stock Auckland, fast dispatch.
Commercial fishing vessels and charter boats with paying passengers require a SOLAS B liferaft for coastal and inshore operations — not a coastal ISO raft. See the HAF SOLAS B liferaft range for the right product.
HAF ISO coastal liferafts are recreational products for private individuals — suitable for leisure sailing, private boating, and recreational use on New Zealand waters.
If you are operating a commercial fishing vessel, charter boat, or any vessel carrying paying passengers, a coastal ISO liferaft is not acceptable. Commercial and charter vessels operating in coastal or inshore waters require a SOLAS B liferaft. See the HAF SOLAS B liferaft range for the correct product.
The under 24hr (<24hr) designation refers to the emergency pack contents. The pack is designed for emergencies where rescue is expected within 24 hours of entering the raft — carrying essential distress signals and survival equipment for short-duration scenarios.
For offshore passages or if your survey requires an over 24hr (>24hr) pack, see the HAF CAT1 offshore liferaft range — packed with food rations, fresh water, thermal protective aids (TPAs), first aid kit, and additional flares for longer-duration survival scenarios.
