The commercial liferaft for coastal and inshore operations

The HAF 8 person SOLAS B liferaft is designed for commercial fishing vessels, charter boats, and work boats operating in coastal and inshore New Zealand waters. If your vessel carries paying passengers or operates under a commercial maritime certificate, this is the raft your survey requires — not a coastal ISO raft.

MNZ approved and manufactured to ISO standard, with SOLAS B pack contents meeting Maritime New Zealand requirements for inshore and coastal commercial operations.

 

SOLAS A grade materials — the same as our commercial fleet rafts

Every HAF SOLAS B raft is built using the same SOLAS A grade materials used in HAF commercial liferafts deployed by Talleys, Sealord, and other major NZ commercial fleets. You are getting commercial-grade construction in a raft sized and packed for coastal operations.

 

Who needs a SOLAS B liferaft?

• Commercial fishing vessels operating in coastal and inshore waters
• Charter boats and vessel operators carrying paying passengers
• Work boats and commercial vessels under Maritime NZ survey
• Any vessel where a surveyor has specified SOLAS B
