SOLAS emergency water rations — Lloyd’s Register certified

These 500ml sealed water pouches are the standard water ration used in all our liferafts and grab bags across New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, and worldwide. Lloyd’s Register certified and compliant with SOLAS / ISO 18813:2006 and EC Directive 98/83 — accepted under all major shipping flags with no flag-specific variants required.

Clean, certified drinking water in a compact, long-life sealed pouch. Manufactured to stringent hygiene standards. Available ex-stock Auckland, ready to ship.

How many do you need?

ISO/SOLAS regulations require our Solas A and ISO Offshore liferaft packs to carry a minimum of 1.5 litres of drinking water per person. That means 3 pouches per person are required for full ISO/SOLAS compliance.

◆  4 person raft: minimum 12 pouches (6 litres)

◆  6 person raft: minimum 18 pouches (9 litres)

◆  8 person raft: minimum 24 pouches (12 litres)

If you’re replacing expired water rations from your grab bag, check your liferaft service documentation for the quantity specified in your pack.

Used across the LSP service network

Liferafts South Pacific uses these water rations when servicing HAF and SeaAir liferafts across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. If your raft is due for its service, the water rations will be checked and replaced in required as part of the inspection.

Pair with emergency food rations — both are standard replacement items in liferaft servicing once they expire.
